This website is operated by ZIMT AG, Sihlquai 131, 8005 Zürich, Switzerland ("we", "us", "our"). ZIMT AG is the data controller for all personal data processed through foodcrafters.org.

2. What data we collect and why

We do not collect sensitive personal data, do not sell your data to third parties, and do not use your email for any purpose other than the updates described above.

5. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, Switzerland, or the UK, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure — ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Restriction — ask us to restrict processing of your data.
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent — withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing. Unsubscribe via any email footer link, or email us.
To exercise any of these rights, contact hello@foodcrafters.org. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Switzerland: FDPIC (edoeb.admin.ch). In the EU: your national DPA.
6. Your rights (CCPA — California residents)
If you are a California resident, under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, or disclose.
- Delete personal information we have collected from you.
- Opt out of sale — we do not sell personal information.
- Non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

7. Data security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are processed by Netlify over encrypted connections. We do not store email addresses on our own servers — they are held solely by Mailchimp under the terms of their DPA.
8. Children
This site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has submitted their data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services evolve. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with a revised effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
We collect your email if you give it to us — we use it only to keep you in the loop about Food Crafters. We track anonymised visits with Google Analytics. We don't sell your data to anyone. You can opt out or ask us to delete everything by emailing hello@foodcrafters.org.
