As it should be clear by now, we’re seriously addicted to middle-eastern cuisine. We heard about this cute little place called Honey & Co, in London’s Fitzrovia and had to give it a go for a brunner (a 4pm brunch/dinner…)
Smart move! Every thing on the menu sounded delicious, so we picked the Yemeni falafels (moist inside, crunchy outside, herby and excellent), a grilled aubergine with a fried egg yolk, an awesome chicken & freekeh salad with almonds and raisins (soo fresh and delightful), and a marvellous slow cooked lamb with braised veggies and green tahini in finale (absolutely divine). Oh, and of course some chocolate slice with salty caramel and the quintessential arabic coffee. The home-made ice teas were to die for (especially the quince one)! Not to mention the home-made breads… mhhhh!
The service was friendly and great. Clearly a foodcrafters favourite, so if you have the chance, absolutely GO!
Yes, we’ll clearly be back!
